It sounds like science fiction but with the wars they've been starting recently I'm incline to agree especially seing how in Canada you get basic sex ed at age 11, and they don't have it at all HELLO AIDS...

So 2 years ago now I got this Logitech G15(Origonal not the 2007 version) for XMAS for those of you who've never herd of it its the fancy gaming keyboard from Logitech:
List of features:
- Ability to create hotkeys
- Ability to create macros without the included "Keyboard Profiler" application (e.g., while in a game)
- Ability to disable the Windows key with a switch on the keyboard
- Ability to display currently playing media on the LCD panel (For use with Windows Media Player, iTunes etc.)
- Keys backlit by blue (orange on revised version) LEDs with 2 brightness settings which can be turned on or off with the touch of a button.
- LCD has white (orange on revised version) OEL backlight.
- Media and volume control buttons
- Built in USB 1.1 Hub, with 2 external USB ports located on the back of the device. Note: These ports are not powered separately, so some flash drives and such may not work.
- Folding LCD panel (for safe storage) (original version only)
- Cable routing beneath the case
- Ability to press more than 3 buttons at once
So slowly I started having some problems. First the MR Key got jammed i think i may have spilt pop or something on it. Then all of a sudden the button to change what was displayed on the lcd stopped working. Then a couple days ago it started randomly acting like the keys were jammed down. So with nothing to lose I decided to crack it open and try and clean everything. Long story short it was a FUCKING PAIN IN THE ASS!!! There is more screws holding this thing together then a small car!(Well thats exadurating but still ALOT OF SCREWS!) The black and silver parts are actually 2 pieces. You have to take the black off then the silver. Anyway I finally got all the keys into a cleaning solution and cleaned the back part. Then put it all back together(let me tell you just as much of a pain as taking it apart must have put it back together atleast 3 times cause stuff wasnt in place right. Any way that fixed all the problems (dont want to jinx it).
Thought I was gonna have to get a new keyboard. So after my ramblings summary is USB Hub never really used it. Macros/ Hotkeys never really used it. LCD pretty much useless.... LED lit keys the only reason id ever buy this keyboard again but with stuff like the saitek eclipse I doubt i would buy the G15 especially with the price tag. The only thing really useful with the keyboard is the switch that turns off the windows keys, etc but never really used it because if ur not leet enough to not hit the keys you are a noob G3t kybrd skills srsly.
So in complete summary the G15 is over priced useless novelty item, and a pain in the ass to service. If you are considering buying it I WOULD NOT RECOMEND IT, buy the saitek eclipse or something normal or a zboard.
Untill I post again.
KAAO OUT!!
P.S. I have also used a revision 2 G15 equally as useless just more flashy.
I just found this really cool online radio similar to Pandora but that works in Canada. CHECK IT OUT.

I really didn't like my copy of the keyboard. It was like a giant aircraft with a lot of useless... read more
